In a recent photo shoot and interview with Harpers Bazaar Korea, Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun was completely honest about her past and current self, and future plans.

First, she talked about her dating style, saying, “If I like someone, I would tell him that I like him up front. I couldn’t really open myself up to others and I didn’t fully experience love in the past because I was afraid of getting hurt. But I realized that only left me with regret when time passed.”

“I would think to myself, ‘Why couldn’t I say anything. If I had expressed myself back then I wouldn’t be this hurt right now,'” Seohyun said. “After experiencing these things quite a few times, my personality began to change regarding love.”

The singer further explained, “I try to be as honest as I can now. Maybe that’s why I’m more objective when a romantic relationship ends these days. The end is the end. I have no regrets or thoughts about it. I probably got tired of expressing myself so much,” and showed how strong-hearted she has become.

Seohyun mentioned Girls’ Generation members while on the subject of personal relationships, saying, “I’m more careful about building friendships than romantic relationships, but I am confident about it. I’ve learned a lot from the members in the five years that I lived with them. Their certain habits or ways of thinking were a lot different from what I’ve done for 20 years, so I did have quarrels with them from time to time. But as time passed, we learned to understand each other. I would be lying if I said living with the members was always easy, but I believe it was a necessary experience for myself.”

Seohyun had a very promising spirit as she continued the interview. She said, “One of my biggest worries is my future. Since I’ve lived the past 10 years solely thinking about work, I think it’s time for me to start a new chapter in my life.”

She revealed that she is currently discovering different hobbies that she might want to continue after 10 years, aside from her activites as a singer, actor, and musical actor. “It’s now 10 years since my debut and I’ve already released my solo album, so I think it’s okay to look somewhere else now,” Seohyun explained.

It sure makes fans curious of what path she’ll be on later in life.

Kyuhyun spoke up to clear some misunderstandings about the fire in Taipei.

After fans became furious at some of the staff's actions after his hotel caught on fire, he himself took to Twitter to explain things. He tweeted, "I think there's a misunderstanding with the Taiwan fire.. To keep things short, I was in my room with my manager and staff to prepare the comments for my performance, and missed the timing to evacuate. We heard that the fire had been controlled, so I chose to stay in the room over going down the stairs and breathing in the smoke that way."

He added on, "Except the staff in my room, all the other staff evacuated following the hotel's instructions and waited outside for 3 hours.. I think I was the one at fault because I just figured there wasn't that big of a problem and kept staying in the hotel to work with the other staff. I don't want there to be problems after a good performance... Please have a good night!"

Actions of Super Junior's Kyuhyun's staff have ELF incredibly angry.

Kyuhyun was in Taipei when the hotel he was staying at caught on fire. Reportedly, instead of taking care of their artist, the staff evacuated by themselves while Kyuhyun stayed in his hotel room, preparing his comments for his performances, unaware of the fire.

He later told his fans that he tried to figure out what was happening when his room filled with smoke, but could not make his way down. The day after, he attempted to sing "At Gwanghwamun" with his bad throat (due to sleeping in the smoke), and apologized tearfully to fans while explaining the situation.

Yoo Ah In recently released an official statement through his company, in response to speculations that he is deliberately evading military enlistment.

The actor’s military enlistment has been postponed three times since December 2015, as a past shoulder injury had led to a “military service classification postponement” result after each physical evaluation at the Military Manpower Administration (MMA). Recent news about his bone tumor have also exacerbated suspicions of enlistment evasion.

In the statement, Yoo Ah In said that he suffered a shoulder injury while filming action scenes for “Tough as Iron” in 2013, and that the injury was worsened when he was again filming action scenes for “Veteran” in 2014.

“As the date for my military enlistment approached, I underwent a variety of treatments while continuing my activities. But as pain in the injured area and discomfort during excessive physical exertion persisted, I went for an MRI test in 2015, and was diagnosed with a muscle rupture (SLAP tear) in my right shoulder,” he said. A SLAP tear means a superior labral tear from anterior to posterior.

He continued, “That my injury and health problems have caused the current controversy is my misfortune, but they are never a means for evading military enlistment. It is personally very difficult that I must seek forgiveness from others for my misfortune, but I hope to take responsibility as an actor who has matured and become accomplished through the love and concern of the public.”

Yoo Ah In also mentioned that “if the bone tumor has no further abnormal development, military enlistment is fully possible,” and that he has “a resolute commitment to this.” The actor also said, “I will work hard to exist as a healthy member of society.”

No, you aren’t hallucinating, that’s definitely two Yoo Jae Suk’s you’re seeing!

Yoo Jae Suk has become the first Korean TV entertainer to have his own spot in the Grevin Museum, which features wax figures of famous people from around the world. Though the museum already features replicas of various Korean singers, actors, historical figures, and sports stars, this is the first time that a TV entertainer is being featured.

The comedian visited the Grevin Museum in Seoul to celebrate the release of his figure and said, “Even I was surprised when I saw the wax figure of me because it looks just like me. It was cool to see the wax figures of other famous celebrities like Psy and G-Dragon, especially because they look so alike. I hope that lots of people come to the Grevin Museum to see the wax figures, and have a fun and joyful time here.”

According to the museum, it took more than six months to create Yoo Jae Suk’s wax replica. The Grevin workshop team flew in from France last June to do the groundwork for the figure, and the final product was completed with glasses, sneakers and a suit worn and donated by the comedian himself.

Beatrice Cristofari, the general manager of the Grevin Museum, described Yoo Jae Suk as an icon of hope who brings happiness and joy to others and is loved by the majority of people in Korea as the nation’s representative entertainer and MC. Gong Minzy is putting her all into the second season of KBS 2TV’s “Sister’s Slam Dunk.”

In deciding to appear on “Sister’s Slam Dunk,” her first official activity since leaving 2NE1, Minzy also made the choice to push back her plans to release her first solo album. She did so because she thought it would be better to focus on one thing instead of splitting her attention between a solo album and a regular variety show appearance. Minzy plans to show a new side of herself through the show, and then greet her fans with her own music. It seems like her solo album will be released around April or May.

Gong Minzy is therefore putting all her energy into “Sister’s Slam Dunk.” The show will follow the members preparing to debut as a girl group, and Minzy is set to play a large role as she is well known for her dance skills. To prepare for the show, the singer took on an exercise regime of dancing and working out at the gym. She gained quite a bit of attention at the press conference of “Sister’s Slam Dunk” for her mature look, in contrast to her image as the youngest member of 2NE1.

The show is set to be a great opportunity for a fresh start. As 2NE1 did not have many variety show appearances, this will be a chance for Minzy to connect with the public and become more approachable. In a way, “Sister’s Slam Dunk” is a turning point for Minzy, who made her debut at the young age of 15 in 2009.

Though she has already built up quite a collection of songs as she has been looking for new music since last summer, it will be interesting to see if Gong Minzy’s appearance on “Sister’s Slam Dunk” will have an impact on her music.

In July of 2016, Chinese media outlets reportedly caught Joo Jin Mo and Zhang Li, who had met on the set of Chinese drama “I’m Sorry, My Love,” on a date and revealed that the two were in a relationship. At the time, however, Joo Jin Mo denied the rumors, saying that he and Zhang Li were merely friends.

Nonetheless, just seven months later, Chinese media outlets released photos of Joo Jin Mo and Zhang Li on vacation together in Japan, which brought up rumors about their relationship once again.

Congratulations to the new couple!

Rapper Gary recently shared his thoughts on a variety of topics through an interview with Chinese media Sina Entertainment.

During the interview, Gary talked about his plans for marriage, saying, “I think I’m at an age to get married. I don’t have any concrete plans, but I want to meet a good person and get married quickly. I’m not the type to carelessly date women.”

When asked about his ideal type, the rapper said, “It always changes, but one thing that doesn’t change is innocence. This might be every guy’s ideal type, but I’d like [to meet] a girl who is innocent during the day and sexy at night.”

Gary also talked about leaving SBS’s “Running Man,” saying, “When the news was announced about my leaving, I was worried that many people would see me in a bad light. But when I received encouraging responses from people who said they were waiting for my music, I was really grateful. I’m going to work harder to make music and communicate with my fans.”

Meanwhile, Gary previously announced his decision to leave “Running Man” in November in order to focus on his music. However, he has guested on the show multiple times since then, surprising the rest of the cast members.

On February 15, a news outlet released an exclusive report stating that actor Yoo Ah In has a bone tumor.

Later on, a source from Yoo Ah In’s agency stated, “It is true that he has a bone tumor. We can’t say if it’s serious or not. It’s a sensitive matter regarding his personal information so we cannot say much about the level of seriousness.”

The agency has clarified with another news outlet that the tumor is benign, and has also said that he is waiting for his next examination. They have promised to release an official statement when it is ready.

Meanwhile, Yoo Ah In reportedly underwent a physical exam for the third time last December, but his military enlistment was postponed once again. The actor had received a shoulder injury while filming the movie “Tough As Iron,” and the injury worsened after filming “Veteran.”

About this issue, the Military Manpower Administration stated, “We need to monitor his condition,” and postponed his enlistment decision. Some people had speculated that the actor was purposefully trying to evade his military enlistment. In response to this, his agency has said that he is not trying to avoid his mandatory military service. “He also wants to enlist in full health,” they stated.

With actor Park Bo Gum currently touring Asia, he recently met with 4,000 fans in Thailand on February 11.

"I was surprised to see so many fans waiting for me at the airport.  I am grateful for your attendance, however, please don't stay out too late at night," Park Bo Gum said as he thanked his fans.

The fans received quite a surprise when fellow actor and friend Song Joong Ki made a guest appearance as his appearance was kept as a secret. The two good friends shared their thoughts on "wishing to work together if the time comes."

When Park Bo Gum was asked if there was a particular Song Joong Ki role he would've liked to have tried, he answered, "'A Werewolf Boy,' I was really touched by the way Song Joong Ki acted without any words, there was so much emotion only with eye contact in that film."

Meanwhile, when Song Joong Ki was posed with the same question on if he would've liked to have tried out any of Park Bo Gum's roles, he mentioned drama, 'Love In the Moonlight.' While complementing Park Bo Gum, he stated, "He looked really cool in that drama. I enjoyed it very much."
