Kim Hyun Joong has had his license suspended after driving under the influence.

According to a report by Channel A, another driver had called police at around 2 a.m. KST on March 26 after noticing that the car in front of him wasn’t moving for a while. When police came, they found Kim Hyun Joong sleeping at the wheel. His blood alcohol level at the time was 0.075 percent, which is an automatic license suspension.

His entertainment company KeyEast Entertainment said on March 30, “At dawn on March 26, Kim Hyun Joong was drinking with his friends near his house when he was asked to move his car by a parking attendant. He drove to comply with this.”

They said, “He hadn’t slept for a few days to practice for his concert, and while he didn’t even drive 1 kilometer, he was asked to submit to a blood alcohol test and had his driver’s license suspended.” They added, “Regardless of the reason, it was wrong for Kim Hyun Joong to get behind the wheel and he understands that what he did is wrong and he is reflecting. We will be careful so that this doesn’t happen again in the future.”

Meanwhile, Kim Hyun Joong was discharged from the military in February and has been preparing for a comeback.

The well-known TV script writer who conned actor Jung Woo Sung and others out of over 15 billion won (approximately $13.4 million) has received a prison sentence.

The Seoul Central District Courts sentenced writer “Park” to five years in prison. The ruling stated, “‘Park’ has confessed to all of the charges and there is clear evidence on this case. Despite problems in her business, she deceived her victims by telling them that they will be able to profit if they invest their money through a specified private equity fund. Using her connections as a broadcasting writer and other personal relationships, ‘Park’ acquired over 15.4 billion won (approximately $13.8 million) over multiple years. Her crime is severe when considering the methodology and monetary value.”

However, the courts lessened the sentence as the majority of the money was used for business funds and loans, with no evidence of money misappropriated for personal use. They stated, “‘Park’ is currently paying back the 6.5 billion won (approximately $5.8 million won) she has not payed back yet. We have also taken into consideration that some of the victims do not wish for her to be given a prison sentence.”

Last year, “Park” was charged with conning Jung Woo Sung’s acquaintance out of 7 billion won (approximately $6.3 million) for a private equity fund, as well as extorting 5.1 billion won (approximately $4.6 million) in business funds for her “Hwang Shin Hye clothing” business. She also failed to pay back 80 million won (approximately $71,700) that she had borrowed to cover operating expenses, and misappropriating 160 million won (approximately $133,400) that she had taken from a couple who run a restaurant in Gangnam to invest in stocks.

“Park” is a well-known TV script writer who has worked on various popular dramas since the 1990s. However, she was found to have engaged in fraudulent activities after spreading her businesses too thin and being unable to pay back the money she had borrowed from acquaintances.

Yoo Jae Suk’s secret good deeds continue to be revealed!

On March 31, a source from his agency FNC Entertainment stated, “Yoo Jae Suk personally donates to a variety of places. However, the agency does not know the amount of his donations or how much he is donating at the moment. Yoo Jae Suk seems reluctant to release this kind of information.”

Meanwhile, one media source previously reported that Yoo Jae Suk has been financially supporting the living costs of a number of elderly folks who live alone. According to the report, he has been donating through the organization Beautiful Fund and has been supporting the elderly for the past 10 years.

Yoo Jae Suk has been showing his heart for those in need by generously making donations to a variety of people including comfort women victims, victims of the Sewol ferry incident, victims of the Seomun Market fire, and more.

On March 29, YG Entertainment gave an update on actress Goo Hye Sun's condition after she was hospitalized on the 24th, stating, "Goo Hye Sun has been discharged from the hospital and will be receiving ongoing treatment."

Up until now, the actress had not been able to eat due to an anaphylactic shock where Goo Hye Sun had to film MBC's 'You Are Too Much' while receiving IV drops.  Meanwhile, the actress will be ceasing all activities and taking time off to rest, she will also continue to receive treatment as an outpatient.

Sojin revealed, "I trained for 12 years. Pre-debut could be extremely difficult but I struggled more when we first debuted. I didn't feel like I've achieved my dream. I did become a singer but I didn't know how and what I would have to do to survive."

Hyeri also shared, "I was very lucky. I debuted fast but debuting fast also had difficulties. I learned a lot about my insufficiency and that was mentally stressful. I also felt like the head of the house so that was hard. It didn't struggle me that much. It rather had positive effects. It became my motivation."

MC Lee Young Ja asked, "When did you start feeling that way? Do you still think that?" Hyeri showed tears and answered, "I think I had that thought all my life. My mom worked at a factory for 15 years. I feel sorry for her." She continued, "I feel like my mom spent her young days in a struggle because of me. My mom might be sad if she hears this but I'm apologetic and also grateful."

Fellow members also shed tears in reaction. Minah also revealed, "I wasn't able to go home for 3 years during training. A lot went on in my house during the 3 years. They knew I was working hard so they didn't tell me anything. But (fortunately) I was able to give good news to them since then."

Looks like wedding bells are ringing for another celebrity couple!

On March 29, sources of both Joo Sang Wook and Cha Ye Ryun’s agencies stated, “The two will marry in May. However, an exact date has not yet been decided.”

The confirmation came after earlier reports revealed that the couple will tie the knot, but had claimed that the couple had already decided on a date as well. According to these reports, the couple will also supposedly participate in a couple photo shoot overseas together in April.

While they initially denied reports of a March marriage back in February, it appears that the news was not completely baseless. Additionally, Cha Ye Ryun had coincidentally caught the bouquet at Bada’s wedding, which just took place on March 23.

Joo Sang Wook and Cha Ye Ryun will be marrying after approximately a year since “Glamorous Temptation” ended, which is where they met. They have been publicly dating since March 2016, right after the drama finished.

While Lee Min Ho’s exact date of military enlistment is still in question, he talked about how he wants to film more works before enlisting.

On March 29, Lee Min Ho attended the press conference for MBC’s documentary “DMZ, The Wild” as the presenter. Not only did the actor narrate the whole program, which took about two years to film, he was also at the location of the filming to deliver important information to the viewers.

During the event, Lee Min Ho addressed the topic of his military enlistment, saying, “I think everyone feels the same way before enlisting. I feel like I will be separated for a while and I feel sad. As I am waiting for my enlistment date, I do have ambition regarding work and would like to film another project.”

A Pink's Eunji was rushed to the hospital for back pains.

A Pink was at the 'K-Plus Concert in Hanoi' on the 25th and 26th. During the performances, fans noticed that Eunji looked like she had back pains. Her label explained, "She hurt her back while preparing the performances. She had a bad back and she hurt it again, so we rushed her to the hospital. After emergency measures and a lot of rest, she recovered. It's not so serious that she needs to go to a specialist."

A lot of her fans are leaving encouraging messages after the worrying post.

According to a statement made on March 24 from the Seoul Gwangjin Police Station, former rhythmic gymnast Son Yeon Jae charged 40 netizens for defamation on March 14.

A source from the police station stated, “We are still in the process of investigating. We have finished questioning some of the suspects.”

Son Yeon Jae’s management agency, GalaxiaSM, released a short statement saying, “Son Yeon Jae decided to take legal action against netizens for defamation. It got to a point where it is too difficult to even mention the contents of the slanderous comments.”

Son Yeon Jae announced her retirement from rhythmic gymnastics earlier this year and held a press conference in March about her retirement where she talked about the negative comments she had to face during her career.

Following reports of Kim Go Eun and Shin Ha Kyun’s recent breakup, rumors about Kim Go Eun breaking up with Shin Ha Kyun because of Gong Yoo have been brought up once again. Previously, rumors first arose when Kim Go Eun and Gong Yoo were filming “Goblin.”

A source from Kim Go Eun’s agency addressed the rumors and said, “There are suspicions about her relationship with Gong Yoo but it’s not true.”

The source continued, “They just worked together through a drama. Her breakup with Shin Ha Kyun was because of her schedule and not because of someone else.”

The president of Gong Yoo’s agency previously addressed the rumors through his personal Instagram and said, “Creating rumors about things that are not true and things that did not happen like this and that. Who is scribbling so preposterously. There’s no truth, but there are rumors. And a lot of it.”

MBK Entertainment recently gave an update on the status of the T-ara members’ contracts.

On March 23, T-ara’s agency, MBK Entertainment, revealed that members Boram and Soyeon will not be renewing their contracts, saying, “As reported, T-ara’s Boram and Soyeon’s contracts will end on May 15.”

They also said, “Qri, Eunjung, Hyomin, and Jiyeon have decided to renew their contract until the end of December, and will be focusing on solo activities, dramas, and other personal schedules as well as overseas activities.” They added, “The T-ara members will release their last album together as a whole group in May.”

Meanwhile, the agency previously stated that T-ara will not be disbanding.

Actor Jin Goo recently revealed some of his closest celebrity friends, naming one of them as a father-like figure!

On March 22, Jin Goo chatted it up in a live interview via the Naver V MOVIE channel. During the broadcast, he talked about the close connections he had made through various projects.

The first friend mentioned in the interview was Lee Byung Hun. Jin Goo explained, “When I was 23 years old, I played a high school student in the drama “All In” as Lee Byung Hun’s younger counterpart. When Lee Byung Hun heard that I was cast, he invited me over to his office to read through the script. Because of him, I was able to film the drama with ease. As an actor, he is a father-like figure to me.”

Im Siwan, Jin Goo’s co-star for his upcoming film “One Line,” was also brought up in the interview. “He has good sociability,” Jin Goo praised, revealing that Im Siwan is even nicer than how his character Jang Geu Rae was in the drama “Incomplete Life.” Jin Goo continued, “I like that he’s really eager when it comes to acting. He doesn’t give up, and he’s good at acting.”

Meanwhile, the upcoming film “One Line” centers around an ordinary college student (played by Im Siwan) who joins hands with a legendary swindler (played by Jin Goo) to rob a bank. It is set to premiere on March 29.

Actor Im Siwan clarified some misconceptions he has as a public figure and discussed his future plans in a recent interview.

About his innocent and kind image, Im Siwan smiled and said, “I think I’ve created a good impression in front of the press, and I think I’ve benefited a lot from that. People tend to believe that I will be a kind person. It has done more good than harm for me, I guess. Sometimes people would ask me, ‘Do you know how to curse?’ and I would tell them, ‘Why? Should I curse for you?’ (laughs).”

After appearing on ‘The Moon Embracing the Sun,’ I realized how important it is to communicate well with the director, so I try to listen to many opinions when I am acting on set.”

The actor also showed a genuine side to himself, revealing that he enjoys drinking alone while watching TV shows like “Infinite Challenge” and “New Journey to the West.” Im Siwan added, “You could say that I’ve avoided appearing on variety shows to maintain the reputation I have. But I want to appear on ‘New Journey to the West’ because I think I would feel less pressure on that show. I am afraid of breaking my image, but I don’t have much to hide anyway.”

When the subject of his military enlistment came up, the star said that he wanted to serve in the military and return quickly. He then explained, “I want to complete military service well and continue my singing and acting career. I also want to participate in singing drama OSTs.”

Lastly, Im Siwan spoke about his future plans as an actor, saying, “My goal is to come across well-made and interesting works. If I become influenced by a certain work and change as a person, that would be even better. I don’t want to sound greedy, but I do want to be invited to events like the Cannes Film Festival, just to browse around. I think it’ll be fun.”

GOT7’s agency JYP Entertainment has shared an update on the condition of member Jackson.

On March 20, the agency posted the following message on GOT7’s fan cafe:

“Hello, this is JYP Entertainment.

We are writing to inform you that Jackson, who was planned to be taking a break until March 19, will be extending his break and will be unable to take part in the schedule today (March 20).

Jackson has been on hiatus to focus on his health since March 11, when he appeared to be ill at a fan meeting. His agency had originally announced that his break would last until March 19.

Actor Choi Tae Joon has opened up about recently concluding his virtual marriage, and it seems like he is still keeping in touch with his onscreen wife Apink’s Yoon Bomi!

Choi Tae Joon had an interview with media site Newsen on March 20, where he talked about the popular MBC variety show “We Got Married.”  The actor began his virtual marriage with Yoon Bomi last September, but the two left the show on March 4 after six months.

He revealed, “I felt a bit sad after our last filming and wondered if we had left too early, but we were on the show for six months. While there have been other couples that were on the show for longer, it seems like the average was six months, so I think we did just about that.”

He continued, “I wanted to at least go on a honeymoon, but we left the show before we were able to do so. Nonetheless, while we were together, I was really happy and we filmed happily. I do feel a bit sad that we left the show just as we were starting to get closer, but I think it all ended with happy memories.”

The actor also revealed, “While we don’t contact each other frequently since we left the show, I did recently reach out to her about meeting up after filming finishes for ‘Missing 9.'”

Choi Tae Joon also brought up whether he’d ever be on a variety show again, saying, “I don’t necessarily have any ambitions to be on a variety show, but if they ask me to appear, I will. I’m not the type of person to do well on a variety show, but every time I’m on one, I do feel that it’s fun. If an opportunity comes up, I want to. Especially since it’s not something that I can do every day.”

He also talked about his recent stint on “Running Man” and said, “I finished the filming for the show and it was really fun. All of the actresses were so charismatic that I didn’t have a chance to stick out that much, but I had fun watching everyone.”

Actor On Si Woo has recently apologized for his controversy involving comedienne Lee Guk Joo.

On March 21, the actor posted an apology on his Instagram, saying, “Even if I did not anticipate this problem, I realize that I should take responsibility for causing this big controversy. In the future, regardless of whether or not something is wrong or right, I will try to become a person who is cautious with my words. I want to deeply apologize to Lee Guk Joo and to all those who have been hurt by what I said.”

Meanwhile, On Si Woo previously posted a comment on a media site’s Facebook link, saying, “Even if you pay her 10 billion won (approximately $9 million), Lee Guk Joo will not [work] with you.” Then on an article regarding Lee Guk Joo’s plan to take action against malicious commenters, he criticized her by saying that she “should’ve been sued ten times over already” for her behavior towards male celebrities.

In regards to this, On Si Woo stated, “It is completely illogical for people to say that I am doing this in order to get my name known. It just so happened that there was a response from netizens and thus became an issue. I just wrote a comment based on what I read and what I felt as a ‘netizen’ and a viewer. Since I’m not famous, I never imaged that this would become an issue.”

A new photo of Kwanghee at the army training center has been revealed!

On March 21, the Korean Army Training Center posted a picture of Kwanghee and other trainees who were admitted into the army on March 13.

In the released image, unlike his usual bright and friendly image, Kwanghee is seen proudly saluting with his fellow trainees while sporting his army uniform.

Kwanghee was formally admitted into the Nonsan Army Training Center on March 13, and will be training at the center for five weeks before going on to serve in the military band.

Meanwhile, his fellow cast members of “Infinite Challenge” previously sent Kwanghee a sweet farewell video to send him off during the week of his enlistment.

Other celebrities like Sandara Park and Cha Ye Ryun will also attend the wedding to congratulate the new bride.

With Bada tying the knot, S.E.S will become the first girl group in which all members are married. Eugene got married to actor Ki Tae Young in 2011, while Shoo married basketball player Im Hyo Sung in 2010.

Newlywed couple Rain and Kim Tae Hee are ravishing cover models for the April edition of fashion magazine Harper’s Bazaar.

Comedian Lee Guk Joo expressed her intention to take action against defamers.

On March 18, she uploaded a screenshot of extremely offensive comments that were directed at her. Some of the comments were, “Even if I were paid a lot, I wouldn’t [kiss] a pig like her,” “Kissing a pig’s head~,” and “If anyone asks what the epitome of capitalism is, tell them to look at Sleepy.”

The comments were talking about the latest episode of “We Got Married,” in which Sleepy gave Lee Guk Joo a peck on the cheek.

Along with the screenshot, Lee Guk Joo wrote, “You guys must be really good-looking, huh? Even if you gave me a billion won, I wouldn’t [kiss] any of you either. Worry about yourselves before you worry about Sleepy. I’m sorry, but I’m taking screenshots of all of these. Don’t worry, fans of Sleepy, I won’t get hurt, but I won’t sit still either. Look forward [to what I do].”

Brave Girls’ Yoojung has been hospitalized with acute enteritis.

According to a media source, Yoojung started having acute abdominal pain on March 16 and went to the hospital, where she received a diagnosis of acute enteritis.

On March 17, their agency Brave Entertainment stated, “Yoojung is currently in the hospital for treatment and rest. We have decided that it would be better for her to get a shot and take a break. It’s not as bad as it seems, so there is no reason for her to [permanently] halt activities. After she gets out of the hospital, she plans to return to the team.”

Park Bo Gum is not the only person to look forward to during the next upcoming episode of SBS’s “Running Man”!

A source of the show revealed on March 17, “Cha Tae Hyun will be appearing as a part of Kim Jong Kook’s mission on ‘Running Man.’ You will be able to watch him on the March 19 episode.”

Although he’s known to be a close friend of Kim Jong Kook, it’s been difficult for the actor to appear on the variety show as he is a regular cast member of KBS2’s “2 Days & 1 Night,” which airs during the same time slot as “Running Man.” Most likely, he was able to make this cameo appearance as “Running Man” will be moving to a slightly earlier time slot beginning April.

This particular episode was originally supposed to air on March 12, but was emptied to provide coverage of former president Park Geun Hye leaving the Blue House after being officially expelled from office.

It will also star Park Bo Gum helping out with Lee Kwang Soo‘s mission, reportedly Song Joong Ki as well as Jo In Sung, although only over the phone, and several others.

On the upcoming March 18 episode of MBC’s “We Got Married,” Gong Myung makes a surprise visit to his virtual wife Jung Hye Sung’s college campus!

The two of them enjoy a sweet date as a campus couple, going to classes together and exploring the campus. However, Gong Myung also shows off his jealous side when Jung Hye Sung interacts with her male juniors. In particular, during a pair stretching exercise, Jung Hye Sung complimented a junior on his good looks, causing Gong Myung to shoot a look at the two of them. The professor, who noticed the interaction, joked, “Are you jealous? This is why you shouldn’t date on campus.”

The two main actors and many others from the “Descendants of the Sun” crew recently reunited to celebrate a momentous occasion, the drama’s 1-year anniversary. Song Hye Kyo also shared a collage of photos from the get-together on March 18.

While not everyone could understandably be there, since many of the actors are filming other projects at the moment, everyone who was there looks like they had a great time.

Not only did they reportedly meet for the anniversary, but they also celebrated Song Joong Ki’s recent win at the 29th Korea Producer Awards, where he was awarded in the acting category for his role as Captain Yoo Si Jin.

“Descendants of the Sun” originally ran from February 24 to April 14, 2016, excluding the special episodes. Fans of the drama couldn’t help but reminisce once seeing the photo, commenting things like, “It’s hard to believe it’s already been a year since the drama has ended,” and “I want to see Song-Song couple reunite in another drama.”

Suzy has reportedly donated 100 million won (approximately $88,500 USD) to Life Share.

According to industry insiders, the entertainer made the hefty donation on March 14, which will help support the medical treatment and physical therapy of patients in South Korea.

In the past, Suzy has donated to many other non-profits providing care to children with incurable diseases, such as leukemia and childhood cancer. Previously, in 2015, she was acknowledged as the 791th member of Community Chest of Korea’s Honor Society, comprised of those who have donated more than 100 million won to the organization.

Meanwhile, Suzy recently released her first solo album “Yes? No?” and is scheduled to appear in the upcoming SBS drama “While You Were Sleeping” (working title) alongside Lee Jong Suk.

Jessica relayed her innermost thoughts about her time with Girls’ Generation and also about her sister, f(x)’s Krystal, for a recent interview with fashion magazine Marie Claire Taiwan.

In the interview, she said, “I was quite scared in 2014 when I left Girls’ Generation, but I feel like I’m in a new world.” She clarified, “After leaving Girls’ Generation, I have a lot more freedom to direct things. I’m almost 30. I want to live for my dream, not for someone else. If I were still a member of Girls’ Generation, I wouldn’t have experienced these things.”

She also spoke about her sister Krystal and what she means to her. She said, “My sister and I have no secrets. She’s my family, and my best friend and colleague. I don’t have anyone else in the industry that I trust, depend on, and talk to without barriers. However, I’m so lucky that my sister is here with me, is working hard, and experiences things with me.” She added that she would like to go on a trip where she could take care of her sister, but they’re very busy with their own work.

Jessica is turning 28 years old this year. She said, “I think I’ve grown a lot this year through my work as a designer, a singer, an actress, and a musician. Of course, I wasted some time as well, but each year, I think I become wiser.”

Shinhwa’s Lee Min Woo is revealed to be receiving treatment for a herniated disc.

On March 16, Lee Min Woo posted a worrying photo on his Instagram account with the caption, “It would be a lie to say this doesn’t hurt~ I’m alive #treating a herniated disc #healing” The photo showed the singer in a wheelchair wearing a hospital gown, and many fans began wondering if he had recently gotten injured during Shinhwa’s “2017 Shinhwa Live Unchanging – Daegu” concert on February 25.

Regarding the photo, a representative explained, “He hasn’t been hospitalized. He is currently receiving outpatient treatment. The herniated disc is something he’s been dealing with for quite some time, and that’s what he’s getting treated.” The singer has mentioned his condition in past appearances in television shows.

YG Entertainment has denied the rumors that Sulli and BIGBANG’s G-Dragon are dating.

On March 13, a netizen uploaded a picture claiming that G-Dragon and Sulli were dating based on the same heart-shaped ring on their fingers. The pictures were from their respective Instagram accounts.

Others backed up their claims saying that they both uploaded pictures of themselves riding in first class seats from the same airline.

Soon after, new rumors circulated claiming that G-Dragon had made his Instagram account private in light of the dating rumors, but it was revealed that the account was a personal account that had been private from the beginning.

Finally, on March 16, YG Entertainment clarified, “We personally asked G-Dragon, and he said, as he laughed, that the rumors are false and make no sense.” The rings were given to them by a mutual friend of theirs,” and added, “G-Dragon is currently busily preparing for his solo album and barely goes outside. He has not seen Sulli since he went to the amusement park with their group of friends.”

Sulli’s agency SM Entertainment also stated that the rumors are false.

TAHITI’s Jisoo will unfortunately be sitting out the group’s performance in Japan due to her health.

On March 14, J Line Entertainment said through its official fan cafe that she will not be attending TAHITI’s performance in Osaka scheduled for Mach 17 due to worsening health.

They said, “Jisoo was hospitalized due to a significant decline in her health. Jisoo wanted to go to the Japanese performance, but her doctor suggested against it and she is no longer able to attend the Osaka performance.” They added, “We ask for the fans’ understanding.” Details for future promotions will depend on Jisoo’s recovery.

While in the official statement the agency did not provide more details on her health, agency sources told local media outlets that Jisoo is suffering from depression and panic disorder.

Meanwhile, TAHITI consists of five members, Minjae, Jisoo, Ari, Miso, and Jerry. They debuted with “Tonight” in 2012 with the single “Tonight.”

The friendship forged between the “Another Oh Hae Young” ladies continues!

According to a representative from Jump Entertainment, Seo Hyun Jin’s agency, “Seo Hyun Jin and Jeon Hye Bin returned on March 15 from a trip they took together.” Namoo Actors, Jeon Hye Bin’s agency, also chimed in and said, “They took a month-long trip together.”

Seo Hyun Jin and Jeon Hye Bin had played two characters with the same name in last year’s rom com hit, “Another Oh Hae Young.” In an interview after the end of the drama, Jeon Hye Bin had revealed that she, Seo Hyun Jin, and Chun Woo Hee were planning a trip to South America together. Chun Woo Hee is said to have been unable to go on the trip due to a scheduling conflict.

Jeon Hye Bin has actually documented their trip together on her Instagram account, though she did not post any photos of Seo Hyun Jin at her request. Her latest post was taken in Paris, and the caption reads, “Bye bye Paris, and Buenos Aires, Iguazu Falls, Ushuaia, Antarctica, El Chalten, El Carafate, and Santiago. We’ve come to the end of our long, 27-day-long trip.”

EXID will be promoting as 4 without Solji during their next comeback.

On March 15, EXID's agency announced, "We've decided they'll come back as a group of 4 without Solji on April 10. It won't be a full-length album, but a mini-album." Solji won't be joining the group for promotions due to her struggles with hyperthyroidism, which she was still recovering from last December.

EXID's upcoming mini-album is expected to include 4-5 tracks, and the title track will not include Solji's vocals.

Kim Rae Won has a secret we’re dying to know!

In a recent interview, the actor opened up about his experience in film and television. While discussing his work on “Doctors,” he dropped a hint about a previous drama he had almost appeared in.

“I politely decline the offer, but it ended up becoming a hugely popular drama. The drama’s name is a secret though,” he explained with a laugh. “The actor [who ended up taking the role] did really well, so it’s a smash hit. If I did it, maybe it wouldn’t have been.”

Despite the interviewer persistently asking him to name the drama, the actor only responded by smiling and shaking his head.

Meanwhile, his upcoming movie “The Prison” is set for release on March 23. In the film, Kim Rae Won is in some pretty impressive company, acting alongside veteran actors like Han Suk Kyu and Jung Woong In.

Meanwhile, “Thief, Thief” will begin airing in May, after the final episode of “Father, I’ll Take Care of You.”

Previously, it was reported that Seohyun was considering a role in a new MBC weekend drama called “Thief, Thief” (working title).

“Thief, Thief” is about a band of thieves that target individuals in the elite class who use their power to secretly twist Korean society to their benefit.

On March 15, it was confirmed that Seohyun had accepted the lead female role as a character named Kang So Ju. Kang So Ju is a passionate police detective who possesses an overwhelmingly strong sense of justice. The character is one who does not worry about her own safety in the face of a criminal and is determined to protect those who cannot protect themselves.

Yoo Jae Suk has donated once again to help victims of a recent fire.

It was belatedly found out that the star had donated 50 million won (approximately $43,600) to the victims of a fire that occurred on January 15 at Yeosu Fish Market. Due to the fire that happened after midnight, 116 stores caught fire and about 7 billion won (approximately $6.1 million) worth of property was damaged.

According to reports from Hope Bridge Association of the National Disaster Relief, Yoo Jae Suk deposited 50 million won to Hope Bridge’s donation account in his name on January 18, just three days after the fire.

Hope Bridge stated, “When the huge amount was deposited to our account in the name ‘Yoo Jae Suk,’ we contacted FNC Entertainment to confirm.” Even Yoo Jae Suk’s manager reportedly did not know of his donation until the phone call.

Yoo Jae Suk met some of the store owners of Yeosu Fish Market when “Running Man” visited the location to film in December of 2011.

Yoo Jae Suk also donated 50 million won to the Seomun market victims last December.

A source from Hope Bridge added, “There are many more donations that Yoo Jae Suk has done in secret.”

Early February, the years-old T-ara bullying scandal resurfaced when — after an appearance by Ryu Hwayoung and Hyoyoung on tvN’s “Taxi” — a former T-ara staff member came forward with her account of what happened.

Now, a little over a month since the staff member came forward, the scandal has resurfaced once more, sparked by a comment from Kim Woo Ri, a stylist who used to work with T-ara.

On March 13, Kim Woo Ri said on “Heard It Through The Grapevine” that Ryu Hwayoung used to mistreat the staff that used to work with her. He gave a specific example, saying that she addressed her hair stylists disrespectfully as “Shampoo,” and that she said things such as, “Shampoo, let’s go.” He said, “Since she got things that T-ara had to work hard for all at once, she had no respect. Simply put, she was rude.”

Ryu Hwayoung responded on her Instagram on March 14, writing, “Mr. Kim Woo Ri. I know you’re close with Hyomin, but don’t make up stories.” She then uploaded a picture of the T-ara members with Kim Woo Ri, saying, “I get it, Mr. Woo Ri, so stop making things up.”

However, two other staff members who used to work with Ryu Hwayoung have come forward in Kim Woo Ri’s defense and confirmed that they were called “Shampoo” by Ryu Hwayoung. One of the stylists, who gave an anonymous statement, said, “[The T-ara members] usually called us ‘Unni,’ but Hwayoung called us ‘Shampoo.’ She did disrespect her hair stylists by calling them ‘Shampoo.'”

Another anonymous staff member said, “I felt that she was disrespecting our profession itself, so I submitted a resignation letter at one point.” The staff member added, “She embarrassed us in front of others, so it was impossible for the staff to like her.”

Singer Alex from Clazziquai made a guest appearance on the March 14 broadcast of Olive TV’s “What Shall We Eat Today?,” which marked the first variety show he’s been on since his breakup with former Rainbow member Hyunyoung.

This particular episode was actually filmed on the day reports confirmed the two celebrities had parted ways, and during the show, the MCs carefully asked Alex about how he was feeling.

The singer carefully stated, “I think it’s good that we support each other, and we wrapped up things nicely in order to go our own paths after maintaining a good relationship.”

He remained a good sport when the MCs had to clarify to fellow guest Andreas Varsakopoulos -of “Abnormal Summit”- that Alex had broken up with his girlfriend, and joked, “Someone who didn’t know until just now doesn’t need to know.”

Alex and Hyunyoung confirmed their split just last month in February, after dating for approximately a year and four months.

On March 13, JYP Entertainment released an official statement saying that TWICE’s Jihyo will be temporarily halting activities due to a knee injury.

The statement said, “After we realized that Jihyo was experiencing pain in her knee area, we went to receive a more precise medical examination, which confirmed that the pain was abnormal. Jihyo is receiving the necessary treatment and is currently in the process of recovering. In order to make a more speedy recovery, Jihyo will inevitably not be able to participate in the group’s activities for a period of time. As this was a decision made with Jihyo’s health as our top priority, we ask for fans to be understanding and, as an agency, we will do our very best to help Jihyo make a full and speed recovery. Meanwhile, TWICE got their 6th win for “Knock Knock” and, earlier today, JYP Entertainment made a statement regarding dating rumors between TWICE’s Mina and GOT7’s BamBam.

Earlier, it was reported that GOT7 member Jackson’s health had taken a turn for the worse during a fan meeting on March 11.

On March 13, GOT7’s management agency, JYP Entertainment, released a statement on GOT7’s official fan site about Jackson saying, “Jackson will not be participating in any scheduled activities from now until March 19. While a medical examination did not reveal anything out of the ordinary, Jackson will be taking a short break to focus on his health.”

The statement continued, “We apologize to any fans who were worried about Jackson and we will work our hardest to make sure Jackson returns to fans in good health.”

Meanwhile, GOT7 recently made their comeback with their full studio album “Flight Log: Arrival” and released the MV for their title track “Never Ever.”

On March 13, Girls’ Generation’s Sunny appeared on the MBC FM radio show “Kangta’s Starry Night” in the new segment “Starry Night Restaurant.”

As befitting the segment, Sunny shared that she recently played a barista in a musical in Japan. “I was a barista that falls in love with a sommelier,” she said. “But I think wine suits me better than coffee.”

Kangta then joked, “I think soju suits you better than wine.”

Sunny said that her latest food obsession was fried chicken. “There’s one restaurant I like a lot. I like their fried chicken. The fried part is thick so I like it. I have the palate of a little kid. I found it through searching online and I go with my older sister and her husband.”

She added that the Girls’ Generation members often share suggestions about good restaurants that they find through their group chat. “Sooyoung is the one that makes the most suggestions,” Sunny said. “She likes to let people know about things and share what she has.”

On March 14, f(x)’s Amber posted a worrisome message on her personal Instagram account.

The message was posted without an image and is simply black. She wrote, “I’ve given my everything. I tried to work things out. Whether it be the creative or business, I’ve been doing everything myself for years so I can to keep myself afloat. But in the end, I’m continuously neglected, hurt, and taken advantage of. I’ve been patient… the fans have been extremely patient and I can’t take it anymore just sitting around, waiting, being constantly rejected and given false hope. I’m so tired mentally and physically and this is where I draw the line. No more.”

Fans are worried that Amber is struggling with similar issues that fellow SM Entertainment labelmate Henry described back in December.

Girl’s Day has released an image that was taken on the set of their new music video!

On March 14, the image was released on Girl’s Day’s official social media site and showed the four members of Girl’s Day smiling while dressed in glamorous, sparkly outfits.

The group will be making their comeback after a year and nine months since their last release, and will be working with popular producer Ryan Juhn for their title track.

Girl’s Day stated, “We’re really happy to be able to return as a full group and film a music video after a year and nine months. Our hearts are about to burst when we think about meeting our fans again.”

Meanwhile, Girl’s Day is set to make their comeback on March 27.
