I had no idea that it would be like this since we had been friends for so long.”

I thought he was polite at first, but the more I got to know him, the more I came to realize that he was a good person. At some point, he started leaving a lot of comments on my social media as well. On April 26, an exclusive report from news outlet MBN claimed that Jung Hye Sung and B1A4’s Gongchan are dating.

Their inside source said, “The fact that they’re dating is top secret. I was completely shocked to find out it was Gongchan instead of Gong Myung.”

The source further revealed that the pair likes to have dates in cars or at their homes to avoid the eyes of others in addition to spending time with other B1A4 members.

However, the agencies of both stars have strongly denied the dating news.

A source from Gongchan’s agency, WM Entertainment, said, “It’s not true that he’s dating Jung Hye Sung. He was shocked at the reports.” The source continued, “It’s true that Jung Hye Sung and Gongchan know each other, but there’s nothing to show that they are dating. We are very taken aback.”

The initial report sparked criticism of “We Got Married” and its authenticity as Jung Hye Sung is currently virtually married to Gong Myung on the show.

Shinhwa’s Eric recently shared a long post on Shinhwachangjo’s official fan cafe site and opened up about his upcoming marriage to actress Na Hye Mi. The private wedding ceremony is set to take place on July 1.

The singer-actor wrote, “I have been with Na Hye Mi for about five years now. During those five years, we broke up and got back together very often. At the time when the first report about our relationship came out a few years back, we were not together so, in order to protect one another, we stated that we just had a friendly senior-junior relationship. More recently, while there were also photos that proved our relationship, we were actually together at the time when new reports came out about our relationship. That’s why we acknowledged that we are dating,” referring to the reports that came out earlier this year claiming the two were in a relationship.

Eric also revealed that his family had not formally met Na Hye Mi’s family yet. Previously it was revealed that even the Shinhwa members didn’t know about his marriage in advance because he informed them after he had met Na Hye Mi’s parents officially.

Finally, he wrapped up his post by saying, “Perhaps it is because I am a person who is lacking in many ways but I am genuinely very grateful to those who worried for me and continued to support me to the very end,” conveying his thankfulness for his fans.

Congratulations again to Shinhwa’s Eric and Na Hye Mi!

An idol for 10 years and actor for eight, Taecyeon is full of motivation right now. As he’s already reached No. 1 as an idol, Taecyeon is ready to actively progress as an actor as well. Although he still has his military service in front of him, his determination is fierce and encompasses his desire to expand into the United States as well.

“It was hard to act while completing my activities as a singer at the same time. I started acting at the peak of 2PM’s popularity and activities. At the time, I didn’t start acting because I wanted to – I was more tired then. It’s not like that anymore. Now that I act because I want to do it, I feel a greater sense of responsibility.”

“House of the Disappeared” is Taecyeon’s second feature film. The film is about a woman named Mi Hee (played by Kim Yoon Jin) who unjustly serves 25 years in prison after her husband is murdered at home and her son disappears. Once released, she returns home and begins trying to discover the truth behind what happened 25 years ago. Taecyeon plays the part of Priest Choi, who helps Mi Hee track down the secrets behind the mystery.

“My first movie, ‘Marriage Blue,’ was an omnibus-type project, so I was able to participate without feeling very burdened. I also took on ‘House of the Disappeared’ without much burden, just as a last challenge before I leave to complete my military service. Regardless of whether or not I would get a lot of screen time, working with Kim Yoon Jin mattered more to me. As a project chosen by Kim Yoon Jin, I thought that it would definitely be based on a solid scenario. Sure enough, it was fun.”

Taecyeon’s character is somewhat mysterious at the start of the film. Also, as a character that appears sporadically, it was tricky for Taecyeon to express his character’s transformation in the latter half of the film. Thanks to Kim Yoon Jin’s advice, Taecyeon was able to gain a clearer sense of his role.

Taecyeon explained, “I received a lot of help not just in acting, but in other areas too.” He continued, “[My role] was a character that could have been flat and lacked dimension, but because [Kim Yoon Jin] gave me the idea of making [my character] brighter, I think I was gradually able to try more things with my acting.”

Working with Kim Yoon Jin was even more meaningful to Taecyeon because of cherished memories from his childhood. As Taecyeon immigrated to the United States at the age of 12 and spent his school years there, he felt an extraordinary appreciation for Kim Yoon Jin while watching her act in all six seasons of the U.S. television drama series, “Lost.” While watching “Lost,” Taecyeon said he was very moved and felt “a lot of pride as a Korean.”

Taecyeon would also like to enter the U.S. market someday. He has sent audition tapes in the past for a number of projects. “While filming this movie together, Kim Yoon Jin gave me a lot of advice,” he shared. He provided some examples, such as how after he told her he’s interested in entering the U.S. market, Kim Yoon Jin suggested it might be better for him to complete his military service sooner rather than later.

“A challenge is always good, I think. I’m continuously knocking on the door [of opportunity in U.S. market]. Actually, a thought I had at the back of my mind when I debuted [with 2PM] was, ‘if we have a concert in the United States, I’ll be able to show my friends.’ But then we really did a U.S. tour, and my dream became reality. Now I have a new goal. For a movie I act in to play in U.S. theaters.”

In 2010, Taecyeon debuted as an actor in KBS’s “Cinderella’s Sister.” Since then, he has appeared in nine dramas and two movies. Originally, it was due to his agency, JYP Entertainment, that his activities first expanded to acting. About his first project, “Cinderella’s Sister,” Taecyeon stated that he would just go and act because the agency told him to do it, and being totally clueless, his acting was completely “soulless.”

Taecyeon revealed that he first realized the joy of acting in 2014 through KBS’s weekend drama, “Wonderful Days.” As it was a work that spanned 50 episodes, he became fully absorbed in his character. Of playing other people as an actor, Taecyeon said he was “fascinated by the feeling of experiencing another life. So, I think that’s why I kept walking down this path [of acting].”

Although already very experienced as an idol, as an actor Taecyeon still faces a long, unfamiliar road ahead. In response to a question about where he’s headed in the future, Taecyeon hesitated and replied, “It’s difficult to provide a clear answer to that.” Laughing, he then said, “Once I return from completing my military service, I think perhaps I can provide a clear vision [of my future].”

To serve in the Korean military, Taecyeon chose to voluntarily relinquish his Permanent Resident status in the United States in 2011. Even after receiving a Grade 4 evaluation on his physical exam because of his poor vision, he underwent corrective laser eye surgery and requested a reevaluation in order to be cleared for active duty. Even his three back surgeries could not sway his strong determination to serve as an active duty soldier. Despite all the obstacles, he is finally set to enlist sometime this year.

He also explained his mindset as he made those difficult choices. “Of course I had a lot of concerns [about completing Korean military service]. But it seemed like I would only find peace of mind if I went and served. I thought it was the choice that would allow me to live unashamed of myself, as someone who receives so much love and attention.” Taecyeon then joked about the situation, “They say that when you enlist, you either adapt well or struggle because you can’t – apparently it’s one or the other. In my case, everyone says I’ll do well (laughs).”

During an interview on April 19, Park Bo Young opened up about a relatable concern regarding compliments and criticism.

The actress admitted that she did read malicious comments. “I do get hurt by them, but I learn about things I do that people don’t like to see. I think about whether my voice is too whiny or if any of my actions make them uncomfortable. When they tell me I always look the same when I cry, I think of ways to cry differently,” she revealed.

She then shared about a specific concern. “When people compliment me, I don’t put much meaning into them, but when they say bad things, I take them too seriously. I try to fix this mentality but it’s hard. Personally, I think getting obsessed with yourself is the most dangerous thing. Since I’m a human being, I only want to hear nice things, but I feel like I would just end up believing them and getting obsessed with myself. I don’t want this to happen,” she expressed.

“Whenever people say nice things to me, I think they’re just saying them because I’m standing right in front of them. Even when I read articles that say good things about me, I forget about them right away. When I read about people pointing out my flaws, however, I think about them a lot,” she confessed.

Namgoong Min, after the recent success of KBS’s “Chief Kim,” is at the top of his game.

The actor has been riding a high since 2015’s “The Girl Who Sees Smells,” where he played the villain. He capitalized on the praise he garnered in that role by playing the bad guy in “Remember” right afterwards, but shook up his image as the romantic male lead in “Dear Fair Lady Kong Shim,” the first time he’d taken the lead role in his 18-year career.

About his success, Namgoong Min said, “Now that I’ve gotten older, I’ve developed a stable mental state. I don’t get a big head when things go well. Since this isn’t my peak, I have to be on my guard in the future. I haven’t decided what project I’ll do next, but I think I’ve gained a confidence in my acting.”

When asked if he was worried about only going down from here, he responded, “My slump will come when when I’m careless or off my guard. I’m not off my guard right now. Even if my next project doesn’t do well, I’m positive enough now not to blame myself. But I won’t throw the blame on others, either. If I ever get a big head, I’ll fall flat on my face. I’m glad that I’m not at the point where I have to worry about that.”

Namgoong Min picked his own turning point to be the 2011 drama “Can You Hear My Heart?” He said, “I got a lot of good responses about my acting. In terms of the response I felt, I think it was better than ‘Chief Kim.’ At that time, I got a lot of casting calls for supporting characters. I started thinking arrogantly that I could do better than that and refused five offers. So I ended up not working for two years. Then I realized that I can’t act that way. As an actor, you can’t only take on the roles that you think are cool and satisfy just yourself.”

He reflected on his new changed attitude. “Even a knife has to be ground down to become sharp. I realized that I had to build up my filmography slowly but surely.”

He added, “I didn’t start acting so I could become a celebrity. I just wanted to act. I was able to survive because people were willing to pay me to act. When I acted in the past, I thought that it was okay if nobody could see my hard work. But now I’m working to be more approachable to the public because acting is a public art.”

When asked about next steps, he said, “I think if I suddenly turn to movies, my career might suffer. I want to go with the flow. Right now I’m getting a lot of love from the drama world so I have more ambitions for that field. I’m not worried about the next project. Of course, if I say that and it doesn’t do well, then…”

Finally, he gave his last thoughts on his last project, “Chief Kim.” “I’ve never been able to make people laugh or be funny, so it’s very emotional for me to get a lot of love for my comedic role in ‘Chief Kim.’ I thought that I was lacking in a lot of parts despite everyone’s support, but I think I prefer to feel that way instead of getting buried in compliments.”

In a recent interview, Sandara Park opened up about 2NE1’s disbandment and began with the remark, “There were a lot of changes last year.”

Because she had spent so much time with the other members, the sorrow that came with their separation was hard to describe in words. She confessed, “I cried so much and for a while, I was depressed and felt really down by myself.”

The singer also expressed her love for 2NE1 as she talked about group’s 2013 release, “Missing You.” She stated, “I cried a lot when that song came out. They say that a singer follows the mood of their music, right? I think I always ended up crying because I cared so much. I started having all these thoughts running through my head from our third year together. I don’t know why I was so worried from so early on.”

She also added, “I know that a group can’t be together forever, but when the time came to part ways, it felt so sad, like breaking up with a significant other. It wasn’t like we were never going to see each other again, but I still felt really sad.”

However, Sandara Park was able to calm her emotions thanks to the strong friendship between the members. She said, “I now realize that nothing has changed. The only thing that’s changed, if I had to pick something, would be that we’re not performing together for a bit. The sadness has mostly gone away, and I’m back to being happy. CL, Park Bom, and Minzy know how I feel without me having to tell them. Knowing that makes me feel warm and emotional inside.”

IU will be taking legal action against a YouTuber, who, during a recent live broadcast, made sexual comments about the singer. The YouTuber (hereafter referred to as “A”) said, in response to a question asking if he likes his dog or IU, “Of course I like IU. I can’t help myself. Why? Because a pet can’t give me ***, but IU can.” He continued, “Because life is sex… you can understand, if you’re a man. That’s life.”

When a viewer commented that he could get sued for his comments, he responded, “If IU were to sue me, it would be an honor. Then I could meet IU in court. If I tell her I’m her fan, she’ll let me go. If I meet IU, we can talk and she’ll forgive me, so it’s a win.”

Fave Entertainment, IU’s agency, is filing an official lawsuit, having decided that the severity of the slander should not be overlooked, and said that there will be no leniency.

Following news of the lawsuit, A posted a video explaining that he was purely joking, and that through transcribing what he said, news articles have made him look like the bad guy because the original, joking tone in which he delivered the lines in question was not expressed. “People who regularly watch my show will know this, but I say a lot of sexual comments, and make a lot of these types of jokes.”

“What caused the problem was that I’m always gushing about IU. ‘I really like IU,’ ‘IU’s my ideal type.’ I always say things like this, so a viewer asked me if I like my dog more, or IU. I said of course IU, and made a sexual joke. With the [headlines that reporters wrote about this], there’s no way people aren’t going to misunderstand. People who watch my show just laugh and move on. Because there’s no real meaning behind what I said.”

A source close to Park Yoochun spoke with news outlet Osen and said, “It’s true that Park Yoochun is marrying Hwang Ha Na this upcoming fall. They have carefully developed their love with only a few close acquaintances knowing about their relationship.”

The source continued, “After Park Yoochun’s scandal, Hwang Ha Na took special care of him while he was going through a difficult time. They naturally developed into becoming lovers this way and have decided to get married. The length of their dating period is not that long. However, Hwang Ha Na was a fan of his and Park Yoochun is head over heels for her.”

Another close source stated, “Park Yoochun currently has no ambitions regarding the entertainment industry. He’s actually even considering retirement. Of course he could start activities whenever he wants to, so it’s difficult to confirm retirement. For now he will not be active in showbiz.”

Lee Joon Gi has posted an apology for the controversy regarding his dating news with Jeon Hye Bin.

Earlier, he was criticized by some for not being genuine on the variety program “My Ear’s Candy,” in which he appeared to be romantically interested in another actress.

On April 10, he posted an apology on his fan cafe with the title, “For my dear family.”

Below is the full letter:

“This is Joon Gi.

“Firstly, I’m very sorry to be relaying my thoughts to you so late. I wanted to pay you back for your trust and your time with me by only showing you good sides of myself, but to think that this family would have been shocked and confused at this sudden situation, my heart was very heavy. Although this might seem out of the blue, I wanted to relay to you my genuine feelings.

“Since it was very foreign to me to feel another emotion towards a colleague that I met through a project, it took me a while to realize what my emotions were. She is a bright and warm person who understands a lot about me. Because we were being careful with the dating, I wasn’t sure how to tell you. I wish I could have told you in a better way at a better time, but things didn’t work out the way I wanted, so I’m very sorry. I’m sorry… and thank you so much for cheering me on and worrying for me.

“As for my behavior on the recent variety show appearance, I feel very responsible. I would like to apologize to those who have given me so much love and everyone involved.

“In the future, I’d like to make up for it by showing you more genuine and careful actions. And I will try harder to give back the love and trust I got from you with good acting.

“I hope that you’re not sad and tired because of me. I hope you have a good night and I hope every day is filled with happiness.

“Thank you always, and thank you again.”

Jung Hyung Don revealed how he formed a deep bond with actor Cha Tae Hyun as they both suffer from panic disorder.

Cha Tae Hyun is set to appear on JTBC’s “Package Tour Around the World” for the group’s trip to Laos. While enjoying a meal right before the flight, the actor cautiously confessed that he was concerned about the six-hour flight.

The actor revealed that he has been suffering from panic disorder, even longer than Jung Hyung Don, who took a break from the entertainment world from 2015 to 2016 due to health concerns related to panic disorders. The others were surprised to hear this, and asked him how long he’s been battling the condition, to which Cha Tae Hyun replied that he’s dealt with it since before he got married in 2006. He added, “I once went to MC a concert in the U.S. and they had to call 911 because I collapsed 30 minutes before the show. I didn’t know it was because of my panic disorder, so I thought it was angina.”

Cha Tae Hyun also revealed that when Jung Hyung Don was struggling with his own panic disorder, he left the man a book in front of his house as a gift. Jung Hyung Don explained, “I cried a lot when I saw what book he got me.” When asked why, Cha Tae Hyun replied, “The book I gave him was one that helped me a lot when I was recovering from my panic disorder. I gave it to him hoping that it would help him out.”

When asked how he maintains his youthful appearance, the 30 year-old actor answered, “I never change the salon I go to. I like to keep things just the way they are. I think that’s the secret.”

Following this, the actor commented on his style and said, “I don’t pay attention to fashion trends at all and rarely change what’s in my wardrobe. Because of this, I have to rely on my stylist even outside of filming.”

The actor also showed his humble side and professional mindset. “I think that fashion is something I need to work on. In acting, there is a possibility that I will have to play a character who is very stylish. I don’t want to be awkward if a situation like this arises,” he said.

Actress Kim Yoon Jin has revealed the story behind her casting in the massive hit American television show “Lost”.

On April 1, she featured on KBS’s “Entertainment Weekly” to promote her newest film “House Above Time” (tentative title), which is set to premiere on April 5.

While on the show, she reminisced about her many projects that she’s done in the past. In particular, when a scene from the movie “Shiri” showed, she appeared a bit shy but as soon as the song “When I Dream” from the movie’s soundtrack played, her eyes watered up with tears.

Kim Yoon Jin also talked about her casting on the ABC show “Lost.” She said that she had originally gone to audition for the role of the female protagonist Kate. Director J.J. Abrams told her that she did not match with that role, which was later given to Evangeline Lilly, but that he wanted to make a whole new character just for her.

As the pre-production continued for the show, she found out that her role (the character Sun Hwa Kwon) was written as a wife who was completely subservient to her husband. She said when she first heard this, she told her agent that she could not play a role that might disparage Koreans.

However, J.J. Abrams explained his entire vision for her role in the first season and onwards, and she was convinced. The rest became history, as Kim Yoon Jin became the first Korean actress to star on an American television show in a headlining role, alongside Daniel Dae Kim who played the role of her husband.
