Yeeun’s father, a church pastor, is allegedly guilty of fraud and embezzlement.

During the June 5 broadcast of Channel A’s “Heard It Through the Grapevine,” it was revealed that Yeeun’s father had tricked his church attendees and believers into donating a large sum of money towards an organization affiliated with the church. He told them he would pay out dividends after using the money to set up an economic research institute.

The pastor was arrested back in April for embezzling a total of 20 billion won (approximately $17.9 million) from 150 people.

It was further reported that he had basically used his daughter’s fame for marketing purposes, telling people he would never trick them since his daughter is a celebrity.

One of the panelists on the show shared that he had contacted Yeeun after hearing the news, and she expressed that she didn’t know how she’d be able to pay back all the money. She reportedly went to the U.S. after her father had gotten indicted.

After it was reported that BIGBANG’s T.O.P was rushed to the hospital on June 6 after being found unconscious, a source from the police has given a statement about what occurred and an update on the artist’s condition.

The source stated, “Choi Seung Hyun [T.O.P’s real name] was on standby in his platoon headquarters. Yesterday at 10 p.m., he took the prescription tranquilizer that he usually takes, and went to sleep.”

The source said that T.O.P was sleeping soundly at 7:30 a.m. the next day, and that when he was awoken for breakfast, he opened his eyes but appeared to want to go back to sleep. As it was thought that he would be tired otherwise, he was allowed to continue sleeping.

According to the source, the reports that he lost consciousness were not true. “Around noon, he was sweating and unable to wake up, so he was taken to the emergency room of a nearby hospital, where blood and urine tests and CT scans were performed,” the source stated. “There was nothing wrong according to the test results, and he reacted when his name was called or he was pinched.”

The source from the police clarified, “Also, when he was taken to the hospital, he was not carried there [while unconscious] but was assisted.” They went on to say that according to the doctors, it seems that he took an overdose of the medication that he takes regularly, although the amount he took is not known.

“He is currently not in critical condition,” the source said. “He is sleeping because there is a sleeping aid in his medication.” They added, “Once the medication is out of his system in one to two days, there will be no hindrance to his lifestyle.”

Meanwhile, T.O.P’s agency YG Entertainment told news outlet Star News on June 6 at 10:10 p.m. KST that T.O.P was still in the intensive care unit at the time.

To explain why T.O.P is currently in the intensive care unit, a source from the police said, “T.O.P is a famous celebrity whose face is well known. There has also been a controversial incident recently. It was decided that if people were to gather around, he would not be able to receive tests or treatment properly. Therefore, he was admitted into the emergency intensive care unit, where it was possible for him to be isolated.”

Recently, T.O.P was dismissed from his military service duties as he is being prosecuted for smoking marijuana.

An exclusive report from Osen has revealed that BIGBANG’s T.O.P was found unconscious on the morning of June 6. Upon discovery, he was rushed to a hospital.

Around 5 p.m. KST he was moved from the ER to the Intensive Care Unit, but he has yet to regain consciousness.

An acquaintance of T.O.P spoke with the news outlet and said, “The results from tests have yet to come out, but I’m suspicious that it’s due to an overdose from excessive drug use. He was having a hard time due to recent events and I think his stress reached a breaking point. It’s very unfortunate and I hope he wakes up soon.”

Currently, T.O.P’s mother and others are waiting at the hospital for him to wake up.

In the wake of recent news about T.O.P’s marijuana use and subsequent questioning by police, the female trainee who was with T.O.P at the time has been revealed as Han Seo Hee, a former contestant on the audition program “Birth of a Great Star 3.” Though she didn’t make it to the top 12 in the competition, she received a lot of offers from various entertainment agencies, and signed with one in June 2015.

The agency in question said to news outlets, “Though Ms. Han was chosen as a trainee, her contract was terminated after one month due to personal reasons. We haven’t been in contact with her in two years, and we are in no way involved in this case.” A police source stated, “It seems that [Han Seo Hee] started using marijuana due to the stress of a continuously postponed debut.”

Han Seo Hee was arrested in March for use of marijuana, after which, during questioning, she admitted she smoked liquid marijuana acquired from a supplier three times. T.O.P’s name came up when police asked Han Seo Hee who she was with. The police then conducted a follicle drug test for T.O.P, which came out positive.

Both Han Seo Hee’s and T.O.P’s case have been forwarded to prosecutors.

Park Shin Hye’s agency SALT Entertainment confirmed the news that they have have filed a complaint on June 2.

The agency announced on their official homepage that they have started taking legal action against malicious commenters for sexual harrassment, slander, and the spreading of false information.

It has been reported that the malicious commenters have repeatedly posted comments on various community sites hurting Park Shin Hye and her fans.

“Youn’s Kitchen” producer Na Young Suk has commented on the program being allegedly plagiarized.

At a press conference on June 1, he was asked about the accusations of upcoming Chinese program “Chinese Restaurant” (literal translation) plagiarizing “Youn’s Kitchen”. He responded, “I have not seen the program myself, so I was unable to check if it’s true.”

According to the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency, a positive result from T.O.P’s hair follicle test indicated that he had smoked marijuana. It was revealed that he had used the drug last October, but it is not yet clear whether he was a continuous user.

The police has forwarded the case to the public prosecutor’s office, accusing T.O.P of violating illegal drug laws. The usage of marijuana is illegal in South Korea.

Meanwhile, T.O.P enlisted in the army as a police officer this February.

Details regarding BIGBANG member T.O.P’s marijuana use have emerged.

It was reported earlier on June 1 that T.O.P has been charged with marijuana use. Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency said, “BIGBANG’s T.O.P was handed over to prosecutors last April for charges regarding illegal drug use.”

According to police, T.O.P smoked marijuana at his home in Seoul in October with a female acquaintance. The police received a tip in March, and tested his hair while he was training at the police officer training facility. He tested positive for marijuana use.

In the police investigation that followed, he had reportedly denied the charges, saying, “I only smoked electronic cigarettes and I didn’t know it was marijuana.”

YG Entertainment responded to this incident, saying, “Hello. This is YG Entertainment. Firstly, we relay our deepest apologies. After confirming with T.O.P, we have confirmed that as reported, during his military service, he was summoned to be investigated for smoking marijuana before his enlistment. He has finished with all of the investigations diligently, and in the investigation process, he has admitted to most of the allegations and is reflecting deeply. Following these details, it was further revealed that the female acquaintance is a trainee. According to new reports, T.O.P and the trainee smoked marijuana at his home three times. The trainee has been investigated by the police and also tested positive for marijuana use.

Meanwhile, T.O.P is currently serving in the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency as a conscripted police officer.
