Jeon Somi has shared her feelings on fellow I.O.I members and seeing them debut one by one.

Last year after the conclusion of “Produce 101,” Jung Chaeyeon rejoined DIA, Kim Sejeong and Kang Mina debuted with gugudan, and Yeonjung was added to Cosmic Girls. This year, Nayoung and Kyulkyung debuted with PRISTIN in March, and Kim Chungha made her solo debut in June. Choi Yoojung and Kim Doyeon are awaiting their debut with Weki Meki in August, and Kim Sohye has been focusing on her acting career.

Regarding being the only one without a clear path right now, she responded, “Of course I want to debut, but I think it will happen when the time is right.” She explained, “I am happy right now, too. School is fun, going to schedules is fun, and I am meeting lots of wonderful people. My life turned around in an instant through ‘Produce 101,’ so I am grateful enough for that.”

Jeon Somi added, “I think I have to improve my skills and prepare for greater perfection. I don’t have a problem with debuting later.”

When asked about the I.O.I members, she answered, “It feels like they are my comrades that I went into battle with. Maybe it’s because our promotion period was short, but my affection for them is that much more. I am cheering them on more than feeling jealous and wishing for all of them to achieve success.”

Jeon Somi ended by leaving a message for fans, commenting, “I still have a lot to showcase. If you continue waiting, I will come out with a bang one day, so I hope you won’t forget me.”

After news of Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo's marriage announcement, Dispatch released exclusive photos of the Song-Song couple's date in Tokyo back in January.

Dispatch revealed that they knew for a long time that Song Hye Kyo and Song Joong Ki were dating and even considered marriage. An entertainment insider revealed to Dispatch, "These two are really serious (and they're considering marriage)."





Although Dispatch knew about the dating and even captured them together on dates, they decided not to publish the news. They stated that if it was regular dating, they can just prove it with photos but marriage news is different. Dispatch needed concrete proof and for marriage and all the things that go with it, they had to be extra careful.

Actors Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo opened up about their upcoming marriage by posting statements on their respective fan cafes.

Song Joong Ki wrote, “I recently had the honor of participating in a production that could let me shine. It was such an amazing experience to me because I received so much undeserved love. During that time, I made a precious friend who eventually became my lover.

“In the beginning of 2017, the two of us promised to spend our lives together. In order to begin a new life where we can get through difficult times together, Song Hye Kyo and I have decided to get married on the last day of October.

“I think a lot of my loving fans would’ve been taken aback by the sudden news. I wanted to tell everyone earlier, but I had to be cautious because it was a decision that involved two people and their respective families. I also didn’t want to cause any trouble to the people involved in my upcoming film. I hope you will understand.

“I promise to live my life as a great actor and a reliable head of my family. I hope you will continue to support our relationship. Thank you.”

Song Hye Kyo also wrote to her fans, saying, “I think many of you would’ve been surprised by the sudden news. It may appear as if I lacked consideration for my fans, but I hope you will understand [my intentions].

“At first, Joong Ki was a colleague who clicked well with me. As we worked on a production together, we discovered that we had similar values and we could really talk about anything. Because he was a good friend and colleague, we continued to keep in touch even after the [drama] ended.

“Over time, the faith and trust that Joong Ki had shown me helped me imagine a future with him. I was thankful that he had such genuine feelings for me, and I was also able to confirm my own feelings for him.

“I wanted to relay the engagement news to my fans first, but I had to be careful because it wasn’t only my decision. I feel nervous announcing the news all of a sudden, but I trust that my fans will support me. Please continue to love me like you have until now. I want to thank my fans for waiting and believing in me.

“The two of us will live happily. Please give us your blessings! Thank you.”

Earlier today, top stars Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo announced that they will be getting married in October.

On July 5, a close acquaintance of the two actors revealed, “They started having feelings for each other before ‘Descendants of the Sun‘ had aired. The drama was pre-produced so they actually began filming in the second half of 2015.”

“Then early last year, Song Joong Ki secretly brought over some snacks to the set of Song Hye Kyo’s photo shoot. It was even before their drama began airing, so the staff wondered why he came,” the acquaintance added.

Another alleged acquaintance further shared that Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo sometimes accompanied each other whenever they had international schedules. Before their relationship began, Song Hye Kyo felt a bit reluctant to date a celebrity, but she was eventually won over by Song Joong Ki’s sincerity.

The acquaintance explained, “Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo didn’t really try to hide their relationship from the people around them. They first told people they trusted, and if someone else asked about it, they neither affirmed nor denied.”

It was then revealed that the actors didn’t want their dating news to be reported by the media, because they wanted to be the first ones to tell their fans about their relationship.

Kang Ha Neul is set to enlist this fall.

The actor’s agency SEM Company revealed on July 5, “He has not received his draft notice yet, but it is planned for him to enlist within September or October.” He applied and was accepted to enter as a military police officer of the Republic of Korea Capital Defense Command.

Regarding his upcoming drama “Bad Guys 2,” the agency assured that he will complete filming prior to his enlistment.

Kang Ha Neul will also greet fans with film “Midnight Runners” scheduled for release in August before he begins his service.

After news broke that Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo were getting married this fall, a source from UAA, Song Hye Kyo’s agency, stepped up to deny some of the rumors of premarital pregnancy surrounding the announcement.

“It is absolutely not true [that Song Hye Kyo is pregnant],” the source stated. In response to a question asking whether the two actors started dating after their hit romance drama “Descendants of the Sun,” the source simply said, “We don’t know.”

UAA previously issued a joint statement with Song Joong Ki’s agency Blossom Entertainment about the couple’s marriage.

It has now been announced that Korea’s dream couple Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo will be getting married in October.

The agencies of the two co-stars of 2016 hit drama “Descendants of the Sun,” Blossom Entertainment and United Artists Agency (UAA), have issued a joint statement on July 5.

It reads as follows:

“Hello. This is Blossom Entertainment and UAA.

“First of all, we give our thanks to the Korean and international fans who have shown a lot of interest in and love for Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo. Also, we ask for your understanding as we convey this surprising news.

“Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo will be holding a wedding ceremony on the final day of October, 2017. A marriage is not only a private matter but also a meeting between two families, so it was a delicate situation in many ways.

“There was no choice but to be cautious prior to marriage, and so we are at last conveying this message. We ask for everyone’s understanding.

“We ask for you to send the couple best wishes for their beautiful future together, and the two actors will be conveying the news to their fans separately. Thank you.”

“The King Loves” co-stars Im Siwan and YoonA demonstrated some cute friendship during the drama’s press conference held on July 3.

When asked about his upcoming military enlistment, Im Siwan expressed, “It’s a relief that I don’t have much time left [until enlistment]. If I had more time until then, I would be playing and wasting a ton of money.”

He added, “I’m not scared of entering military life because YoonA will be visiting me at the army. She’ll be the very first one to visit. I’m looking forward to it.”

YoonA then commented, “I will definitely be visiting him. If our drama does well in viewership ratings, the cast members and I will go visit Im Siwan wearing [traditional] outfits. This isn’t a [ratings] promise though.”

Meanwhile, “The King Loves” will be airing every Monday and Tuesday at 10 p.m. KST starting July 17.
