Im Siwan gave a short farewell to fans on July 11 prior to his official enlistment in the military.

The actor’s new military buzz cut was met by loud cheers from fans, and he gave a salute in response.

Im Siwan said, “Enlisting feels like I’m finally doing homework that I’ve been putting off for a while. I’ll do my best.” When asked about his fellow ZE:A members sending him off, he said, “Kwanghee came out on leave [from the military] and told me to do well.”

After saying goodbye to fans, Im Siwan entered a recruit training center. Once he finishes basic training, he will officially begin serving as an active duty soldier.

Super Junior’s Eunhyuk has finally been discharged from the military!

On July 12, Eunhyuk completed his military service. About 500 fans from Korea and also abroad waited for him to be released to congratulate him. His bandmates Leeteuk, Yesung, Shindong, and Donghae also showed their loyalty by coming out to welcome him back.

Eunhyuk began, “It’s definitely a bit bittersweet. I’m nervous because it’s my first time in front of a camera in so long.”

He said to his fans, “I’m being discharged with a happy heart. Thank you so much for waiting for me in good health for the past two years. I’m sorry for making your hearts ache.” He also emphasized that the letters and gifts he got from fans while he was in the army was of great strength. He also teared up, at which fans chanted, “Don’t cry!”

He also spoke about Super Junior’s stage at the recent SMTOWN Concert. Only four members (Leeteuk, Yesung, Shindong, Kim Heechul) could stand on stage. About this, Eunhyuk said, “We debut as the largest number of members and went on stage with the fewest. That made me choke up a bit. However, it is inevitable as the members are diligently serving in the military. Because of that, I’m very grateful towards the older members. Since we will be coming back as seven members, we hope to show you a full stage.”


Currently, his bandmates Choi Siwon, Donghae, Ryeowook, and Kyuhyun are still serving in the military. Eunhyuk said, “I hope the rest of the members come back healthy.”

Meanwhile, Eunhyuk will be meeting with his fans on July 23 with a fan meet titled “Hello Again.” He will be conducting the fan meet with Donghae, who is to be discharged two days later.

Super Junior will be making its comeback in October with seven members.

Ji Chang Wook’s official military enlistment date has been revealed.

On July 12, the actor’s agency Glorious Entertainment announced that he will be enlisting as an active-duty soldier next month. They revealed, “Ji Chang Wook will enter the training center in Cheorwon County of Gangwon Province on August 14, and once he completes basic military training, he will work hard to fulfill his military duty at his official assignment.”

Actress Lee Si Young’s agency has shut down reports that she will be getting married in the fall.

On July 12, her agency said, “It is true that Lee Si Young is dating someone seriously with marriage in mind since she is at an appropriate age to be married. However, there are absolutely no plans contrary to what was reported.” They said firmly, “There is no truth to the fall marriage rumors.”

They added, “Until recently, she was very busy because of her drama schedules. There hasn’t been any discussion regarding marriage timelines.”

When MC Park Kyung Lim commented, “You look like you are doing very well,” in reference to his marriage announcement, Song Joong Ki pretended like he had no idea what she was talking about. He responded, “Did something happen? I’m not sure.”

Following this, the actor talked further about how he is dealing with his upcoming movie release. He said, “I’m really nervous. It’s been five years since I’ve been in a movie.”

“Battleship Island” is set to premiere on July 16, and the lovely Song Song couple will tie the knot on October 31.

Koyote’s Shinji has been revealed to be rushed to the ER and hospitalized to be treated for overexertion and flu symptoms.

A representative from her agency stated, “Shinji has been participating in a lot of scheduled activities these days. Her body was weakened by exertion and exhaustion. She was administered an IV drip when she arrived but her recovery is slow. So we’re just keeping an eye on her for now.”

They also added, “She needs to rest, so she’ll be solely focusing on her health for two or three days, and only then will the decision be made on when she will be discharged from the hospital.”

Actor Kim Soo Hyun recently sat down for an interview, where he talked about working with Sulli on his latest movie, “Real,” as well as his plans for his mandatory military service.

First, the actor commented on his co-star Sulli and said, “Before we started filming, I didn’t know anything about Sulli as an actress. But when we started to rehearse our lines, I was surprised to see how good her voice was and I think she came out very beautiful on screen.”

Kim Soo Hyun also complimented Sulli and said, “Above everything else, Sulli had the right mindset going into the movie filming. It must have been difficult for her to take on such a big and challenging role, but she was very well prepared and professional. During rehearsals, it seemed like she had studied the script very well, or at least for longer than I had.”

Lastly, the actor also talked about his plans for his mandatory military service. “I haven’t gotten any notifications about my enlistment date yet, but I think it’s safe to assume I will be leaving before next spring,” he revealed. Furthermore, Kim Soo Hyun shared his thoughts on the hiatus he will be forced to take while in the army and said, “I’m trying not to worry about it too soon.”

Fans of G-Dragon were shocked on July 8 when the artist fell through a hole in the stage that had suddenly opened while he was performing.

On July 8, BIGBANG’s G-Dragon held the second concert in his Bangkok stop on his world tour “ACT III, M.O.T.T.E.” While performing on stage, a hole for a lift suddenly opened up behind him.

When G-Dragon turned around and took a step, he fell into the hole. Thankfully, he appears to not have suffered major injuries as he soon reappeared on the lift to continue the rest of his concert.
