Singer-songwriter YUI arrived in Hong Kong yesterday to promote her upcoming concert in June. There were approximately 10 fans waiting for her as she stepped out of the arrivals. Organizers arranged for six security guards to escort her out. YUI appeared very friendly and took the initiative to approach her fans and accepted flowers and presents from them. She bowed deeply to thank them for their support.
After resting from her flight, YUI rode a promotional bus throughout Causeway Bay and Tsim Sha Tsui, attracting many bystanders. Later on she stopped at the Avenue of Stars in TST and gave a street performance in front of her fans. As she began her career giving street performances, she specially requested to perform outdoors. YUI originally prepared to sing two songs, but due to everyone's request, she sang 'Good-bye Days' once more along with her fans. Fans will have a chance to see YUI in person today as she attends an event at Maritime Square at 4pm. She will be staying in Hong Kong for three days during her promotion. Her concert is set for June 26 at the Asia World Expo.
Fans can watch her video message on her official website. Many fans have already posted her performance online.
