In Korea, 2AM received quite a lot of success. Their one single “Can’t Let You Go Even If I Die” in 2010 was the most downloaded single which led them to be awarded a Golden Disc Award. They were paired with 2PM to form "One Day" and they ended up sharing the same training gym and office. They look forward to become one group in Japan as well.
2AM will be the first chorus group from Korea to land in Japan. Their plans are to release their first album in Japan before the release of their first Japanese single, which will be coming out in the beginning of next year. JYP Entertainment, 2AM's agency company has already revealed that they will be holding an event at Saitama Super Arena on August 17 and 18 where they will showcase their artists. 2AM and 2PM members both look forward to showing their performances on stage.
2AM hopes that their debut in Japan will allow Japanese music lovers to go beyond the K-POP=Dance mindset by bringing in their soft and peaceful voices and songs in their ballad market. They hope to be recognized for their vocal skills.
