Actress Moon Geun Young has been released from the hospital.

According to her agency, Namoo Actors, “Moon Geun Young has completed her fourth surgical procedure and as her condition has improved greatly, she has been granted permission to be discharged from the hospital. However, she will require continued treatment and rest until she is fully healed, having gone through multiple strenuous surgical procedures. She will be resting and receiving treatment for the time being. We would like to thank everyone who has expressed their worries and sympathies for her. She hopes to greet you all again in full health in the near future.”

This has been a difficult month for the actress. She first complained of a sudden pain in her right arm on February 1 and was diagnosed with Acute Compartment Syndrome. She required immediate medical attention and an emergency surgery, and she has had to cancel her appearances in the provincial tour of “Romeo and Juliet” to focus on her health. Her last update was right after her third surgery, and they had not been sure whether she would need more surgical procedures or when she would be able to leave.

We hope that Moon Geun Young gets plenty of rest and comes back in full health!

According to reports, Girls’ Generation will be gathering as a whole group for a concert on April 1. The concert is centered around supporting Korean and Vietnamese multicultural familes and will be held in Hanoi, Vietnam. Fellow SM labelmates Leeteuk and NCT 127 will also be attending.

A source from SM Entertainment confirmed that all eight members will be participating in the concert. Furthermore, reports claim that Girls’ Generation is highly likely to release a new album in the latter half of this year just in time for their 10th debut anniversary. Apparently, the members will be preparing soon.

Meanwhile, the members have been busy with individual activities since their last comeback. Taeyeon, Seohyun, and Tiffany have released solo albums. Yuri is acting in SBS’s “Defendant” while YoonA is filming MBC’s “The King Loves.” Sunny, Sooyoung, and Hyoyeon have been making appearances on variety shows and working on other projects.

PRISTIN will be making their debut later this month!

On March 3 at midnight KST, the Pledis Entertainment girl group shared a teaser image for their first ever release, which announces that they will debuting with “HI! PRISTIN” on March 21.

The ten-member girl group (which was formerly known as Pledis Girlz) has already gained plenty of fans through projects such as their pre-debut track “We” and their covers of K-Pop hits. Also, members Nayoung and Kyulkyung (also known as Zhou Jieqiong and Pinky) became well known while promoting as part of the hit temporary girl group I.O.I in 2016.

PRISTIN previously revealed individual profile photos, as well as new stage names for some of the members! They also most recently shared a sweet set of photos for fans on Valentine’s Day.

Actress Han Chae Ah has become wrapped up in dating rumors involving the younger brother of former pro-soccer player Cha Doo Ri, Cha Se Jji.

Her label told news outlets in response to the dating rumors on March 2, "She is simply close acquaintances with Cha Se Jji. Their dating rumors are false."

Cha Se Jji is also the fourth son of soccer anchor Cha Bum Geun. Meanwhile, Han Chae Ah is currently starring in the drama 'Introverted Boss'.

On March 2, former U-KISS member Kevin posted a handwritten letter on U-KISS’s fan cafe regarding his departure from the group and his agency.

“Hello, KISSme, this is Kevin.

I wanted to sincerely convey my thoughts to you all, which is why I decided to write this letter to you. First, I would like to sincerely apologize to all of the fans who were surprised by the unfortunate news.

I was able to make some of the greatest and most precious memories of my life through debuting in U-KISS in 2008 and I wouldn’t be where I am now without the overwhelming love and support of our fans. I am deeply apologetic to and thankful for the fans who supported me through everything and to my fellow U-KISS members as well. I will never forget the love that you all have given me.

Before I reached my final decision, I spent many nights unable to sleep just thinking about it. I spoke with my agency and with the other U-KISS members as well at length about the matter. I made the decision to leave the group that I love so much in order to start walking a new path, one step at a time. My heart aches because I could not stay with U-KISS until the very end and I know that I will forever miss the times that I had with U-KISS. Again, I would like to sincerely apologize to all of our fans and thank you all as well.

I will continue to work hard as part of U-KISS until the end of my contract and will always cheer for and support U-KISS. I hope that you all will forevermore continue to love the hardworking and amazing members of U-KISS.

Apink’s Yoon Bomi and Choi Tae Joon have been confirmed to leave the MBC variety show.

A source from MBC’s “We Got Married” confirmed the news, saying, “Apink’s Bomi and Choi Tae Joon are leaving the show.”

Apink’s Yoon Bomi and actor Choi Tae Joon first joined the show back in September as the follow-up couple to Jo Se Ho and Cao Lu, and the two received a lot of love for being an honest and cheerful couple.

The source continued, saying, “We recently finished the last filming, and their last appearance will be revealed on the show during the middle of March.” Meanwhile, Choi Tae Joon and Yoon Bomi were a couple on “We Got Married” for seven months before announcing their leave from the show.

JYP Entertainment announced they will be taking all possible legal action against those who have written and spread malicious posts regarding Jun.K’s recent injury.

The 2PM member was injured mid-concert on February 26, and was immediately taken to the hospital after falling from a moving platform. He has since received surgery and is being monitored while resting. The agency also explained that they will cancel 2PM’s remaining concerts in light of the situation.

The agency has stated that they will be upholding a hard-line legal policy, and will utilize all legal procedures against those who have spread defamatory comments, malicious rumors, false information, and personal attacks about 2PM and Jun.K following the latter’s injury on February 26.

They further explained, “We have determined that the degree of these malicious comments and posts are too severe to be overlooked, as they cause further harm to the artists, their families, and fans who are already hurting from Jun.K’s unexpected injury. We are informing that we will take strong action [as described] in order to protect the personal rights and mental health of our artists.”

The agency ended their statement by reiterating that they will continue to take appropriate, and firm legal action against similar and related acts moving forward.

Actress Jo Yoon Hee has opened up about her relationship with Lee Dong Gun.

Jo Yoon Hee and Lee Dong Gun’s agencies confirmed on February 28 that the two are currently in a relationship. The two actors actually played the leading couple in the KBS 2TV weekend drama “Laruel Tree Tailors,” and their on-screen relationship has become a real, off-screen relationship.

The actress opened up during her radio show, KBS CoolFM’s “Jo Yoon Hee’s Raise the Volume,” and began with, “We all dream of a special love. A special love is not when you meet a special person, but when you meet an ordinary person and share a special love with them. I’m sure that there are shining beacons of special love out there right now.”

She continued to add, “Though it’s a little embarrassing to say this, I’ve become one of those shining beacons out there. I’m sure you’ve all read the articles, and I want to thank you for your messages of congratulations and support. Please watch over us.”
