Actress Han Chae Ah has revealed she is in fact dating the brother of famous soccer player Cha Doo Ri, Cha Se Jji, despite earlier reports denying the news.

At the press conference for the upcoming film 'Part-Time Spy' on March 8, Han Chae Ah explained, "To be honest, I don't discuss my personal life at all with my agency. I don't communicate with my agency, and then the dating news made headlines. In that aspect, I'm very apologetic. There was a difference of opinion between myself and my label. I think my label thought that because I have a movie coming up, they didn't want to do anything that could possibly harm the film. I think they also wanted to protect me as it's not all positive for an actress to have dating news."

She added on her relationship with her boyfriend, "We're dating well. Honestly, I'm not an idol nor am I young, so I don't think I need to hide that I'm dating."

On March 2, Han Chae Ah's agency stated the actress and Cha Se Jji were simply friends. Congratulations to the couple!

According to a report by Star News, Sulli and Dynamic Duo’s Choiza have broken up, two years and seven months since they were first revealed to be dating in August 2014.

SM Entertainment has confirmed with Sulli that the news is true, and said that Sulli and Choiza have decided to simply remain as colleagues.

Sulli, originally a part of SM girl group f(x), left the group in August 2015 in order to pursue a career in acting. Choiza, who debuted in 2000, founded the entertainment agency Amoeba Culture in 2006. His most recent release with Dynamic Duo, “Grand Carnival,” was in November 2015.

Amoeba Culture also commented on the breakup: “Because it’s our artist’s personal life, we want to be cautious, but due to a lot of interest and concern, we’re releasing a statement.” The agency explained, “[Choiza and Sulli], due to their busy schedules and different ways of life, naturally grew apart. The time they spent together will remain as a good memory, and they will be moving forward as friends and colleagues.”

Closing their statement, Amoeba Culture said, “The two artists have a lot of talent and potential. Please keep an eye out for their future promotions with warm interest and encouragement. And we apologize for causing any concern.”

2AM’s Jeong Jinwoon has taken to Instagram to belatedly show off a gift that he received from his longtime girlfriend, former Wonder Girls member Yeeun!

On March 6, Jeong Jinwoon posted a photo to Instagram of a box of chocolates and a chocolate bar that’s been decorated to read, “I picked this up on my way. I [heart] you!!”. He also tagged Yeeun’s Instagram account on the chocolate bar.

He wrote as hashtags in the caption, “From last Valentine’s Day. Finally bragging about it now. Thank you.”

Yeeun and Jeong Jinwoon have been dating since early 2014, with their relationship becoming public last September!

Girl group Brave Girls is back with another catchy track from Brave Brothers, titled “Rollin’.”

Though the sexy concepts that K-pop was rife with in 2015 have become a thing of rarity in recent seasons, Brave Girls has brought it back with a solid performance and vocals. This is the group’s first comeback with five members; Yoojin left the group in January 2014, while Hyeran has gone on an indefinite hiatus.

“Rollin'” is an upbeat EDM track with a tropical house influence in which Brave Girls sings of a one-sided love.

On March 7, the Suwon District Prosecutor’s Office stated that the man who accused Lee Tae Gon of assault has been charged for making false accusations. His friend, who hit Lee Tae Gon in the face, has been charged for causing bodily harm. Both men have been booked without detention and will face prosecution.

Early in January 2017, the two men approached actor Lee Tae Gon to shake his hand and addressed him informally. When Lee Tae Gon declined, the two men started a fight with him and one of them hit the actor in the face multiple times, causing a nasal bone fracture.

At the time, Lee Tae Gon’s side stated that the actor went to the police station to testify as a victim; however, one of them men claimed that the fight was provoked by both parties when he reported Lee Tae Gon to the police. Fortunately, the actor has since been cleared of all accusations and potential charges.

Nam Tae Hyun has spoken out against his anti-fans.

On March 7, the former WINNER member posted a message on his Instagram, saying, “I’m going to say this clearly. I got a call from the police. They said that my fans reported on the people who wrote malicious comments and spread rumors, and they need my consensus on the issue.”

Nam Tae Hyun stressed, “This is the last straw. Please stop spreading senseless rumors via Twitter, Instagram, and Instiz. Please delete them all. I’m going to keep an eye on this issue for a week and give [the police] my opinion then.”

The artist seems to have had enough of malicious comments and rumors surrounding him. Thanks to his fans, who reported this issue to the police, Nam Tae Hyun will now have the choice to handle this situation with the police or not.

In the March issue of W Korea, Song Hye Kyo revealed which actresses she would like to work with, life as an actress when she was in her twenties, and the prospect of getting married.

In response to a question asking which actresses she wants to work with, she responded, “I’ve vaguely imagined acting with a bunch of women, and two people who were always in that picture were seniors Jeon Do Yeon and Kim Hye Soo. I’m very curious to know how they act on set, and I want to find out how they will influence my acting when I’m with them.”

“I heard they’re making a female version of ‘Ocean’s Eleven’ in Hollywood. It would be great if there were something like that in Korea as well,” she expressed, and continued, “I also want to try acting with fellow actors Jun Ji Hyun and Son Ye Jin, since their styles are very distinct from mine, and they already have a strong career in the movie industry. It would have been nice if I had been given those kinds of opportunities when I was younger.”

Regarding her relationship with female colleagues when she was in her twenties, she named Choi Ji Woo and Kim Hee Sun as some of her seniors that treated her well.

She added, “I wanted to get close to a lot of actresses at the time, but in your twenties you end up in a fierce competition without even meaning to. That creates a difficult atmosphere to make friends. Now that I’m in my thirties, I feel like the competition was all for nothing, and I want to find people close to my age that I can become good colleagues with.”

With the passage of time, the people around Song Hye Kyo are getting married and having children. “I also think I should get married. I used to think it was easy, but it’s getting harder and harder because the people I can date are limited, while my expectations are becoming more specific. When I hear stories from married people around me, my fantasies about marriage fade away little by little.”

Meanwhile, Song Hye Kyo previously received the Grand Award at the 2016 KBS Drama Awards with her hit drama “Descendants of the Sun.” She is currently resting and selecting her next project.

After announcing her retirement from the sport last month, former rhythmic gymnast Son Yeon Jae recently held a press conference to talk about her retirement.

The press conference took place at the Taereung Training Center (otherwise known as the Korea National Training Center) on March 4.

At the conference, Son Yeon Jae said, “For a while, it was like rhythmic gymnastics was my whole life. Now I want to go back to being 24-year-old Son Yeon Jae, not rhythmic gymnast Son Yeon Jae.”

She added, “After I decided I would retire after the Rio Olympics, I was afraid of the words ‘frustration’ and ‘regret.’ In order to wrap up my final season well, I kept on looking forward.”

At the 2012 London Olympics, Son Yeon Jae placed fifth overall and was the first Korean rhythmic gymnast to qualify for the All-Around Finals at the Olympics. In Rio she placed fourth overall in the same event.

Son Yeon Jae continued, “My retirement wasn’t a sudden decision. After the Incheon Asian Games, I considered retiring, but I decided to do all that I can to have a good performance at my second Olympics. For two years I prepared carefully. I prepared in order to pour everything I had with no regrets into this performance.”

Son Yeon Jae had become a hugely popular athlete in South Korea after winning South Korea’s first medals in rhythmic gymnastics at the World Championships and the Asian Games.

At the conference, Son Yeon Jae also addressed some of the rumors that followed her during her career. Some critics had complained that Son Yeon Jae was more popular than she was talented, while others have claimed that she has a connection to the Choi Soon Sil scandal still rocking South Korea.

Son Yeon Jae said, “Whenever I saw negative comments, I thought that I had to be better and get better results. So I’m grateful to those people. I thought to myself, I needed to work hard and prove my talent.”

She added, “There were some negative things, but overall I think that I received a lot of love and interest. I felt every moment that a lot of people were watching over me and supporting me. I am a happy person.”

About her current plans she said, “For the Olympics I took a year off from school, but now I’ve returned and will focus on my studies. I want to keep contributing to rhythmic gymnastics, even though I’m no longer an athlete. I hope I can help my juniors get better results than I did and achieve their international dreams.”
