New celebrity couple alert!

On August 16, Ryu Jun Yeol’s agency C-JeS Entertainment confirmed the reports that the actor is dating Girl’s Day’s Hyeri and stated, “Ryu Jun Yeol and Hyeri recently progressed from being friends to a couple, and they are still in the early stages of their relationship. We apologize to the fans for these surprise dating reports.”

They continued to add, “We ask that people watch over them warmly as their relationship is still in the early stages. Thank you.”

DreamT Entertainment also confirmed the news and said, “We checked with Hyeri, and we can confirm that Hyeri and Ryu Jun Yeol are currently dating, progressing from being friends to being in a relationship. As their relationship is still quite new, we ask that people watch over them warmly.”

Ryu Jun Yeol and Hyeri met on the set of 2015’s “Reply 1988” and became friends while working on the drama.

“Suspicious Partner” actor Ji Chang Wook has decided to quietly enlist to start his mandatory military service.

On August 12, Ji Chang Wook’s agency stated that the actor will enlist on August 14 at the Gangwon Province Training Center without any special event or ceremony to mark his upcoming two-year hiatus.

The agency revealed that the decision was made according to the actor’s wishes. They commented, “There will not be any official events on the day of enlistment. Gathering reporters and fans to say goodbye does not fit Ji Chang Wook’s personality.”

With two days left until he enters the army, Ji Chang Wook is spending quality time with his friends and family and said, “I will do my best to fulfill my duties as a citizen of Korea.”

On August 12, SM Entertainment released an official statement after it was reported earlier today that SHINee’s Onew had been accused of sexual harassment.

SM Entertainment stated, “As a public figure, Onew is reflecting deeply on the anxiety and concern he has caused through unpleasant reports made about him earlier today. Onew went to a club on August 12 in order to congratulate a friend who made their debut as a DJ. Due to his intoxicated state, Onew unintentionally came into physical contact with those around him. This caused a misunderstanding between him and another individual, which is why he was brought in for questioning by the police.”

The statement continued, “However, the individual has acknowledged that there was a misunderstanding and that the incident was something that could happen because of intoxication, and dropped the charge against Onew. Onew will earnestly comply for the remaining investigation…We apologize once again for any anxiety or concern this incident may have caused anyone.”

The agency also asked that the media not report speculatively on the issue without having all of the information, as it could be potentially very damaging to Onew’s reputation and image.

UEE and Kangnam have broken up.

On August 1, Kangnam’s agency RD Entertainment stated, “It’s true that he recently broke up with UEE. They naturally grew apart due to their busy schedules, so they’ve decided to remain as colleagues.”

Last month, UEE and Kangnam confirmed that they began dating after being on “Law of the Jungle” together. According to some sources, however, the two stars eventually became burdened by all the public attention after announcing their relationship.

Less than two months after confirming their relationship, it has been revealed that FTISLAND’s Choi Jong Hun and rhythmic gymnast Son Yeon Jae have broken up.

On August 1, industry representatives reported, “They recently broke up. It seems that Son Yeon Jae felt very burdened after their relationship was revealed by news outlets.”

Choi Jong Hun announced the news personally on this day. At a fan meeting in Japan, he shared, “I wanted to tell fans first with my sincere voice. She felt a lot of burden.”

Actors Song Jae Hee and Ji So Yeon will be getting married next month!

Song Jae Hee took to his personal Instagram to announce the news himself. He wrote, “I, Song Jae Hee, will be getting married to Ji So Yeon on September 7, 2017.

“Our wedding will be attended only by our close family members. We’re sorry for not being able to invite all our friends and acquaintances who have given us so much support. We will visit you all after our wedding.

“I haven’t dated So Yeon for that long, but I feel certain that she’s the one for me. I want to thank our families for supporting this decision.

On August 3, news outlets reported that Go Woori is dating actor Ko Yoon, also the son of politician Kim Moo Sung.

Both are currently actors under the agency Wellmade Yedang and were born in 1988. Reports said that the two are part of a tennis club and attend social gatherings together.

In response, their agency commented, “We checked with the individuals, and they are not dating and just friends.”

Go Woori debuted with Rainbow in 2009 and made her way into acting with various dramas. After the disbandment of Rainbow last year, she joined Wellmade Yedang to continue pursuing her acting career.

Ko Yoon debuted with “Iris 2” in 2013 and starred in various hit projects such as “Monster,” “Operation Chromite,” and “Ode to My Father.” He is currently playing the role of Lee Han in tvN’s “Criminal Minds.”

Lee Jong Suk has chosen to delay the August 10 enlistment date that he received in June.
