The Sports Hochi newspaper spoke with Shimada about an erotic film she is starring in, titled "Shimada Yoko ni Aitai." The movie was helmed by well-known pink film director Shinji Imaoka and is being screened in Shinjuku on October 16 as part of a small film festival called the "Love and Eros Cinema Collection."
In "Shimada Yoko ni Aitai," Shimada plays herself, while Masahiro Komoto plays one of her fans who has been diagnosed with terminal cancer. The movie is said to have a documentary touch to it. In describing her performance, Shimada said that she wanted to show the true meaning of "eros."
That movie is separate from the rumored AV debut. Shimada explained that she did shoot a promotional piece for a movie she will star in, which will begin actual filming in November. She vaguely stated that she does not think it is an adult film, and the production company also explained to her that they do not intend to shoot AV. The earlier rumor claimed that the movie is being released under AV label MUTEKI, but Shimada said that she only signed a contract with the production company, so she does not know who will actually be releasing it.
Shimada was stronger in her denial of other parts of the rumor. She said that she has no idea where the story of her huge debts and marital problems came from, and that there is no evidence to back it up. She further stated that her husband has been helping her out with work and with taking care of her mother.
So far, MUTEKI has not announced anything about Shimada's debut. However, this time may be similar to the situation Sachiko Suzuki of Wink was in last year, when Suzuki personally denied reports of her adult video debut, shortly before it was officially announced by MUTEKI.
she's made two so far of these pink films. I'd like to see her do some more. Really nice lady. Very sexy.
